Accounts Administrator

Prestigious Interior Design organisation seeks an enthusiastic Accounts Administrator to join their busy team. Reporting to the Financial Manager, the role of Accounts Administrator will be to process Accounts Payable financial transactions in a timely, accurate and efficient manner and provide administrative support to the Accounts team.

Successful candidate for the position of Accounts Administrator would ideally possess previous experience of processing financial transactions via accounting software (however, full training will be provided), be highly organised, numerate and have excellent attention to detail. Offered as a permanent contract with attractive working environment, the role of Accounts Administrator is available for immediate start.

Duties of Accounts Administrator:

  • Process and post Supplier invoices and credit notes
  • Process and allocate delivery notes
  • Reconcile Supplier statements
  • Process credit card expenses to Xero (accounting)/Simpro (service management) software
  • Manage/organise Accounts email enquiries
  • Upload Stylist orders and invoices
  • Create payment runs
  • All associated administrative tasks

Skills/attributes required by Accounts Administrator:

  • Previous experience within a similar Accounts Assistant role - desirable
  • Working knowledge of accounting software (Xero preferably) – desirable, not essential as full training will be provided
  • Accurate data entry ability
  • Highly organised
  • Good communication (verbal and written)
  • Numerate
  • IT proficient

Location: Redditch, Worcestershire

Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am – 5 pm (35 hours per week)

Salary: £22,222.20 p.a. (£12.21 per hour)
