Smart 1 Recruitment supporting UP Foundation
We've decided to swap recruitment for running to support a fantastic local charity, UP Foundation.
The Smart 1 Team are going to be taking part in the Birmingham Fun Run in September to help raise awareness and funds to support UP!
We pride ourselves on helping local employers and job hunters and we now want to go beyond that and do more to help the local community.
After meeting the team at UP Foundation, we could not wait to start supporting them!
The UP Foundation are a local charity who provide positive sporting and energy expending activities for young people which help them believe in themselves, learn new skills, move away from unhealthy and anti-social behaviours, and progress in their lives.
Smart 1 Recruitment are the new kids on the block when it comes to recruitment in Redditch. Just over 2 and a half years old, we came on to the scene in 2015 with a passion to do things differently and deliver an experience that placed as much importance on our candidates as we do our clients.
The partnership between Smart 1 Recruitment and the UP Foundation comes as a result of Smart 1 Recruitment’s overall vision which focuses very much on the local area, we want to extend this beyond helping job hunters and local employers to do more for our community as Director Cathy Strain explains...
Our vision is to be the best local recruitment agency. We focus on giving clients and candidates alike a more personal experience – one where they feel they are truly valued. As we head into our third year of business, we wanted to extend our vision beyond the world of recruitment and further into the local community.
The UP Foundation also started in 2015 and they have worked hard to provide sport and physical activity opportunities that have a positive impact on lives and communities. From football training to tournaments the activities they provide teach young people valuable skills such as teamwork that will hopefully prepare them for their future.
They have worked with over 100 children from 12 different nationalities in the local area and would like this to continue to grow. They rely on the support of local organisations, like Smart 1, to make this happen. UP Foundation Director, Delroy Thompson says...
We are so please that Smart 1 are going to be the first origination help raise funds for the UP Foundation, this will so beneficial to you the young people of Redditch.
